3. What nights/times
does the league play?
We play on Tuesday
nights and games are broken up into 3 possible time slots: 6:30,
8:00 and 9:30. Teams may play a single game or a doubleheader on
any given Tuesday night. There are also 2 Sunday afternoons early
on in the season where we schedule doubleheaders.

4. Which format does
your league play?
Our league is 3-Pitch,
which means that a batter only gets 3 pitches max per at bat, and
someone from your own team throws the pitches.

5. When does registration
begin for the 2008 season?
Technically,
there is no registration per se. By filling out the online inquiry
page, you are expressing an interest in playing in our league for
the coming year. We make note of all interest in the order in which
they were submitted, and will contact individuals by phone in the
spring as spots become available.

6. If I fill out the online
inquiry questionnaire, should I expect a call back relatively soon?
No. We will retain
your information until it is needed by the league either to form
a new team, or to supplement existing teams spots. If you still
have questions about anything to do with our league after reading
this FAQ, feel free to contact our league registrar, Tim West,
by email @ tim.west@sympatico.ca or
by phone @ 905-826-0463.

7. I have a bunch of
friends who want to play on the same team this year in your league.
Can this be arranged?
Last year we expanded to 10 teams and currently have no plans (or diamonds) to expand further. Our executive will meet in March to discuss any further expansion plans. All interests expressed in joining our league as a team are filed in the order of receipt, and you will be contacted in the spring if there are spots to be filled.

8. I just want to play for
fun and am not looking for a competitive environment? What is the
competition level of your league?
Even though we are
a Co-Ed 3-Pitch league, the skill level of our league is relatively
high. Some teams always end up being more competitive than others,
but for the most part, everyone is there to have a good time.

9. Where are the games
played?
We play the majority
of our games at Meadowvale Sports Park on Meadowvale Blvd. (Mississauga
Rd. and 401 area). We also schedule 2 Sunday afternoon games for
each team which are played at Mt. Charles diamonds (410 and Derry
area).

10. How do I inquire about

Go to the COED

11. How much will it cost
for a new team to join your league?
Team fees last year were $2250, (approx $150 per player based
on 15 player roster) which includes 25 regular season games on lit,
fenced diamonds with 1 umpire, plus playoff games. Each team would
also be required to purchase a set of bases for their team (approx
$80), however, game balls are provided by the league. Each team
is also responsible for their own uniforms (shirts). The team fees
also include 15 banquet tickets which includes dinner, open bar,
door prizes and dj/dancing.
